How SEMRS is paid, what it does not earn from, and where client data goes.

How SEMRS earns
SEMRS is paid by its clients, in two ways only: fees for the services named in an order, and a management fee on advertising spend calculated per platform at an agreed percentage with a per-platform monthly minimum. Both appear as separate, itemised lines on an invoice.
Advertising spend is never touched
Clients pay advertising platforms directly from their own billing method. SEMRS does not hold client funds, does not receive ad spend, and does not deduct its fee from money intended for advertising. Access to a client's ad account is granted through the platform's own agency or partner mechanism, never by sharing a password, and the client can revoke it at any time.
No commissions, kickbacks or paid placements
SEMRS does not accept commission, referral payments or rebates from advertising platforms, tools or vendors for recommending them. Where a tool is recommended, it is because it fits the work. SEMRS pays for no paid links and sells none: content is not placed in exchange for payment disguised as editorial.
Paid tools requested by a client
SEMRS works with free tools by default. If a client specifically requests a paid tool or data service, the client pays that vendor directly. SEMRS does not mark it up and takes no margin on it.
AI use
Content may be drafted with AI assistance and is disclosed as such on request. Analytical figures are computed from real data, not generated. Where a number cannot be measured, this system shows nothing rather than an estimate presented as a fact.
Where client data goes
To perform the work, SEMRS connects to platforms the client authorises — for example Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, YouTube, or a WordPress site. Data flows only between the client's own accounts and this system. Client data is never sold, never shared with another client, and never used to market SEMRS itself. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Lead data
Where lead generation is in scope, leads submitted through a client's own capture point belong to that client. SEMRS collects only what that form asked for, keeps it scoped to the client who captured it, and never resells it or reuses it across clients.
Testimonials and examples
Any example work, screenshot or result shown by SEMRS reflects a real engagement, used with permission or anonymised. Sample data used for demonstration is labelled as sample data and is excluded from every real reported figure.
This page describes how SEMRS actually operates. It is written to match this system's documented practices rather than generic boilerplate, but it is not legal advice, and a qualified review is recommended before relying on it in a dispute.
